Following professional testing, from our expert cosmetic team we have concluded that the Superdrug's Naturally Radiant Glycolic Acid Toner is an incredible dupe for the Pixi Glow Tonic.
Both toners contain many of the same key ingredient. Both Pixi and Superdrug toners contain 5% Glycolic Acid. (works by removing dead skin cells, reducing signs of ageing, fights acne and reduces darks spots), Glycerin (intensely hydrates to plump and firm the skin) and Hamamelis Virginiana Water (anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, reduces redness and soothes the skin).
There are many similarities between both creams:
- Both contain 5% Glycolic Acid
- Both toners are made in the UK
- Both contain root and fruit extracts that are anti-inflammatory to calm skin and reduce redness
- Both contain Hamamelis Virginiana Water - soothing, antioxidant and antibacterial so its great for healing the skin, fighting acne, reducing redness and inflamed skin.
- Both toners have a very similar spa-like refreshing scent
- Both are alcohol free
- Dupeshop's testing found that both toners resulted in visibly softer, more plump skin and after 4 weeks it significantly reduced pores.
The Superdrug Naturally Radiant Glycolic Acid Toner has some differences to the Pixi Glow Tonic Toner for example:
-The Superdrug Toner is transparent in colour as it does not contain any artificial colours, however the Pixi contains a red colorant.
-The Pixi toner contains Aloe Vera Juice extract, this is great for soothing and calming the skin. However, the Superdrug toner contains Allantoin which is a soothing natural ingredient found in the leaves and roots of plants.
