The Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm is one of the best reviewed cleansing balms. It contains very little ingredients but is super effective in removing dirt and make up off the face. The Superdrug B. Melting Cleansing Balm is one of the most similar cleansing balms we have tested to the Clinique.
Both cleansing balms contain the same emollient ingredients that are used to melt away makeup and give the balm a silky and smooth consistency/texture.
There are many similarities between both creams:
- Both cleansing balms are alcohol-free so will not dry out the skin
- Both cleansing balms contain Vitamin E, an antioxidant that nourishes and protects the skin
- Both contain seed oils which are important in dissolving makeup whilst keeping skin smooth and hydrated
- Both cleansing balms contain the star ingredient "Linoleic Acid". This acid comes from the Safflower Oil in the Clinique and from the Sunflower Oil in the Superdrug B. Melting Cleansing Balm. This ingredient increases cell turnover to reveal brighter and more youthful skin.
